Rudi’s Tea Room is located in Butterworth Cottage, one of the original 19th century buildings on the Government House estate that make up the Cary Castle Mews. The Tea Room is open from May 21, 2019, until end of August. Hours are 10:00 am-4:00 pm, Tuesday-Saturday (closed on holidays). Reservations are available for groups of ten or more only, outside the hours of 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. All other seating will be on a first come, first served basis. Small and cozy location. We greatly enjoyed the heritage burger (added cheese and bacon) and the delizioso chicken burger. The fries and chips are house made and I like that they'll do a half of each as your side. After 9pm daily burgers are half price, though unfortunately this appears to be their busiest time of day.
